Music Monday - Home
I love this song because it embodies how it should feel to be in love. It doesn't matter where we are as long as we are with our loved ones.

Guitars - Patriotic
Last week I showed you this painting. It's 24 x 24" on canvas. I like it but the vision I orginially had was a rectangular painting.
I started the painting below at home and got it to where it is now.
Acrylic on paper.

Music Monday - Here for A Good Time
I am loving this song. It makes me happy because one time, when I was riding in the front passenger seat, the two teenagers in the back were singing along with the radio and it was pure greatness. :)

Guitars - July 2nd American Guitar
Inspired by a band playing at a backyard 4th of July party. I'm not sure if this one is done but I sometimes can make that decision when I see them posted here. I'm personally attached to this one.

Music Monday - New York
This video was shot four days prior to the WTC attacks. The song is actually about a difficult relationship that happened in New York but after 9/11 the meaning of the song, for listeners, came to mean something different. New Yorkers love their city. I won't ramble but I do see a painting in my future influenced from this video.

Black & White Plus One Color Warm Ups
Being in love takes a lot of work. And, I've been busy at work so the art blog has been behind but life is good and that's all that matters so, moving on and catching up.
At the begining of the week, Bob urged us to do some warm up paintings using black, white and one color only focusing on composition.
Color: Black, White, Opera Pink
Composition: Cruciform
Content: Soaring Love
Commitment: I was there!
I will paint over these.

Music Monday - And She Was
Just a fun song and it reminds me of when I was younger and always dreamed of being able to float above the world. I could fly in my dreams. I haven't had a flying dream in a long time. What does it mean?

Journal - Love More
This page has so much personal meaning. It's not hard to figure out that I'm in love.
When I wanted to feature this journal at the end of last year I never imagined that I would get behind in posting pages but here I am. I'm going to try and catch up but I really like being in love and spending time with Chris so it will be what it will be.
